Structural Engineer
Mid-Level and Senior Opportunities Available
Location: Iselin, NJ
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid option available
Compensation: $100,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience, licensure, and level of responsibility
About the Opportunity
OECIS is looking to add Structural Engineers to support our continued growth, including both mid-level and senior-level candidates.
These roles are ideal for engineers who want more ownership, more hands-on design exposure, and broader project experience than is typically available at larger firms.
What You'll Do

Perform structural analysis and design across multiple project types

Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports

Support and lead portions of project design and coordination efforts

Work directly with senior engineers and leadership on project execution

Participate in site visits and existing condition evaluations

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients

Assist with project scheduling, task management, and internal coordination

Provide guidance and support to junior staff as needed

For more experienced candidates, take on increased responsibility in project leadership and coordination
Qualifications

5+ years of structural engineering experience with EIT or PE license
-
10+ years of structural engineering experience with PE license and strong background in concrete and steel structures
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering
-
Experience with structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures
-
Proficiency with engineering software such as Bentley, RAM, ETABS, PCA Slab, RISA, or ENERCALC
-
Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction practices
